This was a recent Zappi V2 install undertaken by Lawson Electrical in Southend-On-Sea, Essex. The customer approached us after being told they’re car was due to be delivered several weeks earlier than first thought. Being a local and flexible business we were able to carry out both the survey and installation within 5 days. Far quicker and cheaper than the national installers the customer had approached initially. This left one very satisfied customer able to charge his new EV as soon as it arrived.

Zappi’s Renewable Technology
The Zappi V2 is a very popular smart charger. It can also have additional benefits for people generating renewable energy via solar PV or wind.
It has special charging features for balancing grid, solar, and wind power sources. For example, ECO mode controls the charging rate to match any surplus energy generation coming from a solar system. You can also charge with 100% renewable energy.
However, if time is of the essence the Zappi v2 also works as a regular smart charger. ‘FAST mode’ gives you regular grid charging at the maximum speed of 7kW. You can also set up scheduled charging to make use of cheaper energy rates on dual-rate tariffs.
