MyEnergi Eddi Install Shoeburyness

MyEnergi Eddi Install

Lawson Electrical recently completed the installation of a MyEnergi Eddi in Shoeburyness, Southend. The MyEnergi Eddi, is a device that allows the redirection of self generated energy back into the home. In this case, the Eddi was used to divert any excess energy produced by the customers PV system into their immersion tank. A standard PV system would have sent this excess back to the grid. This is far more beneficial for the customer taking into account current energy prices and in particular the difference in between these and the export tariffs currently available.

How Else can the EDDI be used?

The MyEnergi Eddi can be used to divert energy to an array of heating appliances. Some examples include: storage heaters, heated water tanks, pool heaters, underfloor heating and heat pumps. The Eddi can also be used in conjunction with the time of use energy tariffs. The Eddi has manageable boost timers that allow you to get the most of these tariffs or your PV depending on which is the most economical.

To find out more about the MyEnergi Eddi and how it could be used to optimise your energy savings, don't hesitate to get in contact with Lawson Electrical.

Unfortunately, this can give rise to damp and eventually mould as the heating is not on enough to dry out some of the damp houses naturally experience over time. A PIV system can be used to combat this and help prevent damp and the development of mould.
